Five paw prints. Edward is a bunny. More specifically, he is a toy bunny and he is the much loved toy of a little girl. He is handsome, wears the most beautiful clothes, and he thinks he is the best toy anyone could ever own. Edward thinks he is perfect. The result…Edward is not very nice to other toys. But one day Edward is lost and the little girl is no longer able to protect him. Next is a series of adventures that Edward must go on to find his way back to the little girl. As Edward becomes older he is loved, hated, broken, and repaired, and he learns how to love others. This modern day retelling of the Velveteen Rabbit to wonderful for older students to read alone and it is perfect for families to read together.
